- Full Moon with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo occurs on February 19, 2019.

Patience Helps

As the month of February begins, Mars in Aries forms a square to Pluto on February 1st. You may feel as if there’s a power struggle going on between what you want to do immediately and what you have to wait to do. More specifically, the struggle is between patience and impatience. If you act too quickly, as there’s a tendency when Mars is in Aries, you miss some important details and find that other people don’t support your goals. But if you wait too long, you may miss an important opportunity that gives you an advantage which can help you in the future. This is a time to prioritize. Decide what’s important to you and go after that first. Leave the rest until you understand the situation better.
You’ll gain more insight into your situation on February 2nd when Venus forms a trine to Uranus. You’ll understand what’s important to you and how you need to proceed. You may even run into an old friend you haven’t seen for a while who can help you at this time. This is a good day to take risks because you know what you need in order to win.
Before Venus enters the sign of Capricorn on February 3rd, Venus forms a square to Chiron and Mercury forms a sextile to Jupiter.
Usually when Venus is in the sign of Sagittarius, as it is in the morning hours, and Mercury forms a sextile to Jupiter, you feel as if you can take on any challenge and succeed. You have this sense of optimism that may be a little unrealistic. You may even try to justify your approach even if it’s not the best thing for you to do. Yet, with Venus forming the square to Chiron just before it enters the sign of Capricorn, you realize you need to slow down. You can’t just get what you want in life. You need to show compassion to other people so they can show you their support. By showing compassion, you find that people are there to help you, especially as Mercury forms that sextile to Jupiter. Suddenly your goals become easier to achieve because other people are willing to help you.
When Venus leaves the sign of Sagittarius and enters Capricorn, it joins three other energy points already in Capricorn: Saturn, Pluto, and the Moon’s South Node. You become more concerned with holding yourself and other people accountable. You understand the importance of your responsibilities. You’re even able to develop strategies which can lead to greater success.
The new Moon which occurs on February 4th has both the Sun and Moon in Aquarius. You understand the importance of relationships and want to make certain that you hold on to the important relationships in your life. At the same time, you’re open to meeting new individuals that help you expand your perception on life.
Usually at the time of a new Moon, you want to start taking action that can promote your success. With this new Moon forming a conjunction to Mercury and a sextile to Jupiter, you’ll find that any ventures which include communications and presentations can be very successful. If you’re a writer, this is a good time to start that new article or book. If you’re a teacher, now is the time to review your teaching materials and update them to include the newest information. No matter what field you’re in, you’ll find that verbal or written communications is very important.
On February 9th, Mars in Aries forms a square to the Moon’s Nodal Axis and Mercury forms a sextile to Uranus later in the day.
Usually you want to rush into situations when Mars is in Aries but that’s not so easy right now. The Moon’s North Node is in Cancer indicating that safety and family must be your top priority right now. With the Moon’s South Node in Capricorn, you realize that you can’t always put work first. So you need to find that balance between your professional desires for success and your family’s need for security.
With Mercury forming a sextile to Uranus later in the day, you find ways to keep your family safe while still promoting your professional needs. You come up with new ways to approach situations. You’re also able to get other people to help you so you don’t need to do everything on your own.
When Mercury enters the sign of Pisces on February 10th, you want to pull back and spend more time reflecting on your needs. You’re not as interested in achieving external success. This is a good time to approach life creatively. It’s also a good time to reflect on your goals and see if they are meeting your spiritual needs.
You need to be very careful on February 13th as Mars forms a conjunction to Uranus and Mercury forms a square to Ceres later in the day.
With Mars forming the conjunction to Uranus, you want to rush out and conquer the world. While that’s an admirable desire, you still need to be careful that you don’t rush into situations without looking. There’s a tendency not to see the important details. In addition, missing these important details can cause you to have an accident.
When Mercury forms the square to Ceres, you may not be willing to compromise because you think that you have all the answers. However, there’s a lot that is still hidden from you. Also, you need to take care of your environment. If something needed to be fixed earlier and you didn’t bother at that time, you’ll find that you need to take care of it today so it doesn’t break or cause an accident. There’s a tendency for worn-out items to fall apart when Mercury forms a square to Ceres.
The energy shifts from wanting to take immediate action, to one of reflection as Mars moves in the sign of Taurus on February 14th. While Mars isn’t always comfortable in the sign of Taurus, its detriment, you’re actually glad that situations are beginning to calm down. When Mars is in Taurus, you want to understand all possibilities before you act. You want to make certain that you’re decisions are the right ones. In the long run, this need to understand all aspects of a situation before you act will bring you greater success.
When Venus forms a sextile to Neptune on February 17th, you feel good about yourself. Neptune is often considered the higher octave of Venus. This means that with Venus you feel passionate about who you are and what you can do. With Neptune you feel compassion for other people and how they impact your life. You may not totally understand how to handle finances, since Neptune often obscures matters, but you do understand how to care about other people and their point of view.
Before the Sun enters the sign of Pisces on February 18th, Venus forms a conjunction to Saturn. The positive aspect of Venus forming a conjunction to Saturn is that you understand the importance of finances and realize how to focus your life on your needs. However, you don’t want to take yourself so seriously that you start criticizing any errors which you might make. And, you don’t want to put up barriers that prevent your success. You understand the importance of responsibility and with this in mind you can create plans to achieve results.
When the Sun enters Pisces on February 18th, you feel even more compassion for the people around you. You want to help everyone, but be a little careful because Mercury will form a conjunction to Neptune tomorrow and you can feel that energy as well. You may not see everything clearly. Or, you may let other people take advantage of you. Just be cautious.
Before the full Moon occurs on February 19th, Mercury forms the conjunction to Neptune. After the full Moon occurs Mercury forms a sextile to Saturn. Both of these Mercury aspects are part of a triad sequence. The other two conjunctions between Mercury and Neptune occur on March 24, 2019 when Mercury is retrograde, and on April 2, 2019 when Mercury is direct. The other two sextiles between Mercury and Saturn occur on March 20th when Mercury is retrograde and on April 7th when Mercury is direct.
These aspects are important. Mercury won’t go retrograde until March 5th. Yet because these aspects form one of several triad sequences, you start feeling that retrograde energy now. And, it will be more pronounced because of the conjunction is between Mercury and Neptune. It helps that Mercury also forms a sextile to Saturn at this time.
Between now and when Mercury forms the final conjunction in this triad sequence you need to be very careful with contracts. You also need to be careful with what other people tell you. They may not lie outright, but they may lie through the process of omission. Choose your own words carefully so they don’t come back to haunt you.
When the full Moon with Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo occurs, you want to see things more clearly but you need to be careful because Mercury just formed a conjunction to Neptune and that energy is still active in this chart.
Mercury is going to play an important role during this full Moon because four Mercury triad sequences occur: two on the day of the full Moon and two more just after the full Moon. As already written, you’ll start feeling the energy of the Mercury retrograde today although the retrograde period doesn’t technically begins until March 5th. Whatever you decide is important is going to occur on a psychological level during the time of the full Moon and until April 11th when all of the triad sequences complete their energy.
Emotionally you don’t want to be taken advantage of. You’re more skeptical when interacting with others. This is good because you need to protect yourself against any forms of deceit. Use this energy today to determine which of your dreams are real and which of them are illusions. Try to find a way to determine the difference.
It does help that this full Moon chart also has the energy of Mercury forming a sextile to Saturn which will occur later in the day. With this energy, you’ll feel as if you can use your past experiences to help your future goals.
There is also a stellium created by Saturn, Venus, Pluto, and the Moon’s South Node. This indicates that it’s very important for you to review past experiences and make certain you can use that information to create a solid foundation for your future success. Usually the full Moon is a time of letting go. Now, however, the full Moon is a time for accessing your past so you can determine what to maintain.
After the full Moon occurs, Mercury forms a sextile to Saturn. This is the first time this aspect occurs in this triad sequence. The second time it occurs is on March 20th when Mercury is retrograde and the third time it occurs will be on April 7th when Mercury is direct.
Normally a sextile between Mercury and Saturn feels good. But, Mercury is in Pisces and Saturn is in Capricorn so you may take things too seriously. It’s important that you verify facts but not at the expense of criticizing yourself so you can’t take any actions.
Today is a day for research and review. It’s a time to use your past experiences to understand your future needs. When Mercury forms its last sextile to Saturn in April, you’ll have a better understanding of how to move forward.
Mercury forms a square to Jupiter on February 22nd and Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto later in the day. The square that Mercury forms to Jupiter is the first time this square occurs in this triad sequence. The other two times this square occurs is on March 15th when Mercury is retrograde and Jupiter is direct and on April 11th when Mercury is direct and Jupiter is retrograde.
Mercury and Jupiter are opposing energies in many ways, but it’s important to note that Jupiter is in the sign of its rulership. Mercury looks at all the details while Jupiter looks at the big picture. When there is a square between these two planets, you need to decide whether to consider all the details or ignore them and consider the bigger picture. You may feel optimistic about your possibilities. At the same time, you feel as if you might miss something very important if you just push ahead without considering all the facts. It’s important that you don’t justify your behavior.
Whatever you consider today will not be resolved or even understood until the last time this aspect occurs. Do the best you can not to make any major decisions. Rather, take the time to research all the possibilities and get as many facts as you can. When this aspect occurs for the last time on April 11th you’ll understand what you need to do.
You continue to understand the importance of setting goals on February 22nd when Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto. In a lot of ways you’re able to understand your inner motivations. You realize what needs to be done in order to succeed. At the same time, you don’t want to be so focused that you miss out when someone is lending a helping hand. There is a tendency to believe that you have to do everything yourself when Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto.
Another triad sequence with Mercury begins on February 23rd when Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto. The other two times this aspect occurs will be on March 16th when Mercury is retrograde and on April 10th when Mercury is direct.
You may feel as if you have all the facts to proceed, but you don’t. You’re trying to force a decision before you’re ready. This is a day to consider all the facts and write them down. This is the time to realize that you have the energy to proceed in some areas, but not all. If you can be patient, you’ll find this patience rewarded around April 10th when this aspect occurs for the last time.
On February 26th, Venus forms a conjunction to the Moon’s South Node. This indicates that you need to consider actions you’ve taken in the past and try to understand how they are impacting your family relationships today. Perhaps you worked too hard. Or, perhaps you put your job in front of your family obligations thinking that was in the best interest of your family. Or, perhaps you need to re-organize your finances to make certain all is going as planned.
As the month of February ends, Mars forms a quincunx to Ceres on February 28th. With Mars you want to grab a hold of everything and rush into situations. With Ceres you realize that you may need to compromise if you want to get your way. It helps that Mars is in Taurus right now because you realize that until you understand the situation fully you won’t know the best action to take. With this quincunx between Mars and Ceres, you’ll be able to make adjustments that lead to your success.
