November 2016 – Healing From Divisive Actions

By Misty Kuceris ©2016

Over the last several months, Uranus and Chiron have been within 30 degrees of each other: Uranus in the sign of Aries and Chiron in the sign of Pisces. During the months of November and December 2016, Ceres retrograde moves close to a conjunction to Uranus and becomes part of the interplay that is occurring between Uranus and Chiron.

What this means is that you’ll feel an underlying pain during the months of November and December that needs to be healed through the acceptance of each person’s individuality and how that individuality can help you become a better person. You’ll also realize the importance of compromise in order to find a way to heal from divisiveness that appears to be taking over the world.

This energy will be very evident on November 2nd when Mars forms a square to Ceres retrograde. This is a tension aspect between the male who wants to dominate and the female who won’t let the domination occur. It also represents the strife that you feel as you want to take aggressive action in life without losing your sense of compassion.

Today you want to move forward with your life and claim your success. But you may find that other people are standing in your way and they don’t want you to succeed if they feel you are getting in their way.

It’s important to find that balance between asserting yourself and feeling compassion for others. You need to know when to compromise and when to take control. You don’t want to rush into situations without caring about other individuals. At the same time, you don’t want to compromise so much that you can’t get on with your life.

When Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto on November 3rd, you find yourself thinking about important matters in your life. You can dig deeply into your soul and come up with a greater understanding of past problems and how to resolve them. You find that it’s easy to let go of old anger that stands in the way of your success.

At the same time it becomes so easy to focus on your goals that you lose sight of what others have to say. You may not take their needs into consideration. The advantage to this intense focus is that you’ll be able to accomplish quite a bit. The disadvantage is that you may miss an opportunity to gain valuable insight from other people. Do the best you can not to alienate others as you strive to achieve.

When Venus forms a square to Chiron retrograde on November 4th, take the time to resolve past conflicts, especially if they exist in your relationships. The tension you feel in your life today comes from holding on to negative thoughts that stand in the way of your happiness. By releasing those negative thoughts you’ll be able to move on and find healing in your life.

The good news is that Venus forms a trine to Uranus retrograde on November 5th and you find that it becomes easier to let go of negative thoughts. You’re open to new ideas. You’re willing to let go of what stands in your way. You’re even willing to take risks.

Because of this open attitude, you feel better about yourself. And, when you feel better about yourself other people want to help you. This is the law of attraction. You attract what you feel when Venus forms a trine to Uranus retrograde. You may even attract a new relationship into your life.

On November 6th, Mercury forms a trine to Chiron retrograde and a quincunx to Uranus retrograde. While it’s easy to discuss various problems with others, you don’t want to feel as if individuals are taking advantage of you. You want to find resolutions so you can move on with your life. But other people may not be willing to resolve matters. Instead, they may start discussing new situations which have nothing to do with the old problems. Do the best you can to stay on track with any discussions you have.

You’ll feel better on November 7th when Venus in Sagittarius forms a trine to Ceres retrograde Aries. With both planets in fire elements you feel inspired to go after your goals. You’re willing to work with other people: even compromise if you need to. You also see the potential of establishing mutual goals that can increase each other’s success. This is a great day to negotiate and find a path that works for everyone involved.

As Mercury forms a quincunx to Ceres retrograde on November 8th, you find that you need to review some of those goals you established yesterday. You may find that not all of your goals are as important as your thought. With Mercury in Scorpio, some old matters will surface that need to be addressed before you can move forward.

Mars enters the sign of Aquarius on November 9th. When Mars is in Aquarius, you find that you want to get involved with social organizations that can enact change. You really don’t want to do things on your own. At the same time, you want to be able to express your individuality within the group structure. Just be careful not to make too many external commitments so you don’t lose your own personal time.

Venus enters the sign of Capricorn on November 11th and isn’t really comfortable in this sign which is ruled by Saturn. When Venus is in Capricorn, you feel responsible for everything. You feel as if you need to make certain that people are taken care of. You also want to get goals which can be achieved.

The positive nature of Venus in Capricorn is that you are willing to be responsible for your actions. You set goals in order to create a secure foundation in your life. You want to make certain that you take care of family and friends. As you work on your goals, don’t lose your sense of compassion by being so focused on those goals that you don’t spend time with family and friends.

Mercury enters the sign of Sagittarius on November 12th and isn’t comfortable in this sign either. As a matter of fact, Mercury is in its detriment. Sagittarius likes to explore matters and move into the abstract. Mercury likes to get a lot of tidbits but not really pay attention to the facts. So, when you feel as if you want to move into more abstract ideas that include a spiritual aspect to it, you find it difficult as you get stuck in the small little matters that really don’t mean anything.

When the full Moon, with Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus, occurs on November 14th, you experience another supermoon. This supermoon is the most intense of the three supermoons which occur during the time of the full Moon this year. The last supermoon which occurs during a full Moon this year will occur on December 14th.

A Moon is called a supermoon when it is closest to the Earth and perigee. This means that the tides are higher than normal. If there’s a coastal storm, it is more intense. Basically, the water of the earth is pulled closer to the surface by the Moon’s location and the tides are higher.

As written in the October 2016 article, the term supermoon was coined by astrologer Richard Nolle over 30 years ago. But, according to earthsky.org, the term is now in common use with astronomers. (Go to http://earthsky.org/space/what-is-a-supermoon#what-before for more information.)

Normally emotions are hidden below the surface when the full Moon has a Sun in Scorpio and a Moon in Taurus. You want to delve deep into your subconscious in order to understand what’s important for you. You want to release negative feelings and move on with your life. But, because this full Moon is in perigee and a supermoon, it’s difficult for you to conceal your feelings from other people. It’s as if this full Moon is pulling all your emotions to the surface and you feel the surge of an emotional tide coming over you.

It’s very important that you don’t let any feelings of anger be the result of your feelings surfacing. You need to hold back your thoughts until you understand why you feel angry. This is especially true because the Sun is forming a quincunx to the Uranus retrograde/Ceres retrograde conjunction and Neptune retrograde is applying to a conjunction to the Moon’s South Node.

With the Sun forming a quincunx to the Uranus retrograde/Ceres retrograde conjunction, you feel as if you aren’t receiving emotional support from others right now. With Neptune retrograde applying to a conjunction to the Moon’s North Node, you may feel as if you need to resolve something from your past, but you don’t know what it is. The danger is that you start placing too many expectations of people in your life, especially your family and friends. The real lesson with this energy is that you need to understand how you can ask for emotional support in a way that doesn’t overwhelm other people in your life.

The conjunction between Neptune retrograde and the Moon’s South Node occurs on November 17th. You may feel very confused today. You may not know if you’re coming or going. Life just seems so confusing to you because thoughts from the past are surfacing. Fears that you didn’t deal with are getting in your way. People don’t seem to be honest with you.

But if you can tune into your creative and spiritual nature you may be able to let those fears surface so you can realistically release them. You may find that they are cause by past events which are no longer important in your life. Or, you may find that they are warning signs for you to review the direction of your life and make changes.

If you are a creative person, especially an artist, you’ll find that you can tune into your higher consciousness and create a work of art that is inspired not only by your surroundings but also your soul.

On November 18th, Mercury forms a square to the Moon’s Nodal Axis and a square to Neptune retrograde just a little more than one hour later. You may still feel confused about the direction of your life. Thoughts from the past may continue to surface. With Mercury forming a square to the Moon’s Nodal Axis, you need to understand how these past events are impacting your present actions. You can’t run away from old situations. You need to address them.

With Mercury forming the square to Neptune retrograde you find it difficult to verbalize your thoughts because they are surfacing as feelings rather than concrete ideas. As your feelings surface, you need to write them down. Don’t worry about complete sentences or paragraphs when you write down your feelings; just job down your impressions. If you’re an artist you may even find that you can create an illustration or write a poem that expresses your feelings. Don’t worry if your feelings don’t make sense right now. They will start to make sense between November 19th when Venus forms a sextile to Neptune retrograde and Neptune turns stationary direct and on November 22nd when Mercury forms a sextile to Jupiter.

When Venus forms the sextile to Neptune retrograde on November 19th, you’ll be glad that Venus is in Capricorn. When Venus forms a sextile to Neptune, you tend to be a bit unrealistic in how you approach your goals and implement your dreams. But with Venus in Capricorn, you try to look at your dreams from a realistic perspective. You realize that some of those dreams are too outlandish. You also know that you have to do more research before you take any actions. Setting goals can help as long as those goals are based in reality.

One other thing about Venus forming a sextile to Neptune retrograde. You may feel as if you found a soulmate at this time: Someone who believes in you and what you want in life. But, don’t move too quickly in this new relationship. Take time to find out who that person really is. You may not like what you see after you’ve spent some time with the individual. Or, you may find that you really did meet your soulmate.

As Neptune in Pisces turns direct later in the day of November 19th, you start feeling some subtle changes. You may not even realize that the changes are occurring. You may see more creative activities in the world. You may find that you can reach into your spiritual nature on a deeper basis. And, some of that confusion you felt on November 18th starts to dissipate and make sense.

As the Sun enters the sign of Sagittarius on November 21st, you feel more optimistic. You feel as if you can achieve your goals. You are willing to take some risks. This is a good time to look forward to the future.

November 22nd is a very optimistic day as Mercury forms a sextile to Jupiter. You’re open to new ideas. You feel good about what you can come up with. You’re willing to look towards the future with great thoughts. This can be a wonderful day. And any confusion which you felt on November 18th is finally gone. You can look back to what you wrote or painted on that day and understand the symbology behind your words or artwork. Just one little word of caution: There is a tendency to talk too much when Mercury forms an aspect to Jupiter.

You’ll find yourself more serious on November 23rd when Mercury forms a conjunction to Saturn. This aspect can be both positive and negative at the same time. Because both planets are in Sagittarius and neither is comfortable in this sign you may feel as if you need to censor your words. This is not a concept that you like. You really don’t want to take things too seriously, but you find that you do.

On the other hand, you may realize that in the past you said too much and now you need to be very careful with your words. You need to think before you speak. Or, you need to listen to what other people are trying to tell you. Because it’s important to listen and pay attention to your environment right now, this could be a very good day for negotiations. You won’t let other people take advantage of you.

On November 24th, Jupiter forms a square to Pluto. This is the first time this square occurs in this series. The other two times that this square will occur is on March 30, 2017 and on August 4, 2017.

Jupiter forming the square to Pluto is important not just because this is a series of three aspects but because this starts creating a wide cardinal T-square between Jupiter, Pluto, and Uranus. The last time that this cardinal T-square occurred was in 2013 and 2014 when Jupiter was in Cancer. On August 2013, Edward Snowden released classified documents to Wikileaks and was granted asylum by Vladimir Putin of Russia. Violence occurred in both Syria where it was proven that President Bashir Assad had used chemical weapons against his own people and in Egypt where Coptics were assaulted for their religious beliefs. Later, the elected Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, of the Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown by military leader Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, now President. Since that time period, chaos has ruled the world. ISIL, called Daesh by the Arabs, has claimed to build an Islamic State and is fighting with various Middle East countries, including Syria. Various computer leaks continue through increased cyber activity, often state sanctioned. People are being bombed and killed by various terrorists of all nationalities and races.

Jupiter represents the desire to move into the future with optimism and hope. Pluto represents the need to maintain the status quo. Jupiter often represents a sense of idealism while Pluto represents the depths of one’s anguish.

With Jupiter in Libra there is hope that people will continue to find ways to work together. But with Pluto there is a desire to close the borders and maintain a close watch on others. Secret plots are always suspected.

But in actuality, Pluto represents the need to throw out things that no longer work. It represents the need to stop hoarding. And, with Pluto in Capricorn that indicates that it’s time to determine what doesn’t work with the government and to make changes that actually work towards achieving goals. Jupiter represents aspiring towards the future. In Libra it means finding ways to build coalitions that can work. If you look at this energy in its pure positive form, it means finding a way to look at the future with spiritual vision and bring together various people so all can work together.

So, during this time period, between November 24, 2016 and August 4, 2017, find ways to use this energy in its positive form. Work with other people to build coalitions so you can enact positive change in your life. Throw out the garbage that doesn’t work anymore. Stop hoarding negative emotions which prevent you from finding happiness in your life.

This need to understand how to use the positive energy from the Jupiter/Pluto square continues on November 25th when Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto and a square to Jupiter a few hours later.

As Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto you feel as if you know what you want to in life. You’re willing to make commitments. You feel passionate about your approach to life. You also feel good about your personal power. You don’t let anyone take advantage of you.

A few hours later as Venus forms the square to Jupiter you may wonder if you were a bit too optimistic about your ability to achieve your goals. Perhaps you took too many risks and now need to pull back. You also need to be careful not to make too many commitments which can prevent you from taking care of your own needs.

On November 26th, Mercury forms a square to Chiron retrograde, a trine to Uranus retrograde and a trine to Ceres retrograde. As the last few days of the month occur, the energy caused by the closeness of Uranus retrograde, Ceres retrograde, and Chiron retrograde seems to escalate.

When Mercury forms the square to Chiron retrograde, you feel as if you want to choose your words very carefully. You don’t want to hurt anyone else’s feelings. You want to find a way to heal from the pain of divisiveness which has been occurring over the past several months. But, you don’t want to lose who you are as you try to find ways to bring people together. Although you’re choosing your words carefully, it’s important that other people understand your needs as much as you want to understand their needs. You are open to new ideas right now. You’re willing to try new things in life. And you feel confident that if you can utilize these new ideas you’ll create a safe environment.

This is especially important on November 29th and November 30th. The new Moon occurs on November 29th. Venus forms a sextile to Chiron retrograde and a square to Uranus retrograde on November 29th and a square to Ceres retrograde on November 30th.

When new Moon occurs, you want a fresh start in life, especially with the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius. You’re tired of all the vitriol. You want to move forward with your life. With the new Moon forming a square to the Neptune/Moon’s South Node conjunction, you need to release any fears that are standing in your way. You need to pay attention to your feelings and not the words of others who are trying to use your feelings to promote their agenda. If you can let go of your fears, you’ll find it easier to move on.

As Venus forms the sextile to Chiron retrograde and the square to Uranus retrograde on November 29th and the square to Ceres retrograde on November 30th, you’ll start feeling better if you can release your fears. You’ll realize that you don’t have to hold on to the pain.

You may feel some tension as you look forward to your future because you don’t want other people to take advantage of you. You don’t want to lose who you are. You want to make certain that your environment is secure. But if you can understand the importance of compromise as a way of healing, you’ll learn that you can still maintain your individuality and form better relationships with others in your life.
